FREMONT — NAZIR MARDOMI had two dreams as a child: to see the Bay Bridge and to make movies.

After he came to the United States for the first time in the early 1990s, Mardomi went straight to the bridge and walked around Treasure Island to admire it for four hours, and he began to realize he was living his first dream.

Shortly afterward, he realized his second dream of making movies, using a $12,000 budget and building an impromptu movie set inside his garage.
