Tak Wah Mak is the Director of the Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research at the Princess Margaret Hospital, and a University Professor in the Departments of Medical Biophysics and Immunology at the University of Toronto, Canada.

He is affiliated with the Department of Pathology at Hong Kong University, and is the current chairman of the Croucher Foundation, an independent foundation dedicated to promoting excellence in the medicine and the sciences in Hong Kong.
